I am reaching out to share PSN's new opening for an Environmental Justice Network Coordinator. We're looking for an organizer who is bold and visionary, able to take on big and exciting campaign work, and ready to build awesome teams of diverse, dedicated young people across the country ready to build power in communities of color and on the frontlines to fight for a livable future. Basically, we're looking for an incredible, justice-focused organizer to join our team to take on projects like Frontlines to Power, a program that trains young candidates of color on the ins and outs of running for elected office and prepares frontline activists to become effective spokespeople for their communities.
Over the last two years we've been going through some really exciting and radical changes at PSN in order to really provide resources and capacity that the movement needs to build more power. As a network with more than 80 member organizations, there's a lot of potential for building a truly massive movement fighting for climate justice in many different ways.
We're putting the final touches on a long-term strategic plan for the network right now, so it's a big opportunity to come and work with members to shape what that will look like. We've all got each others' backs and really care about one another, are focused on long term movement building, and strategic campaign work. We're scrappy, but super smart.
