John Delaney's 2020 presidential campaign is hiring finance assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure on a national campaign!
The finance assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting our finance team in all matters regarding low and high dollar donors. The ideal finance assistant obviously will be flexible, hardworking and organized, but perhaps even more importantly, will have a great sense of humor (or at a minimum will laugh at our jokes), and will enjoy interacting with lots of people and working collaboratively with a team!
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of call time including donor research, prepping call lists, completing call time follow-up, and chasing pledges
· Travel and staff candidate when necessary (with mileage reimbursement)
· Manage finance interns
· Aid in the planning and execution of fundraising events
· Be willing to support other campaign operations as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Excel and NGP VAN (painful, we know, but necessary)
· Experience (and actually thrive in) working in a fast-paced campaign environment
· Excellent time-management and organizational skills
· Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
