The Virginia House Democratic Caucus is seeking qualified Finance Directors for the 2019 campaign.
Democrats are currently a 49-51 minority in the House of Delegates -- there will be competitive incumbent protect races as well as several red to blue pick up opportunities.

Individual campaign Finance Directors will work with and report to the caucus on a daily basis as well as play an important leadership role in their individual campaigns. Campaigns file daily reports regarding goals and participate in a weekly conference call with caucus staff and consultants.
A finance director MUST have experience with the following:
- at least one or two cycles of finance experience (Finance Director, Deputy Finance Director, Call Time Manager, Finance Assistant)
- implementing and being accountable to an aggressive campaign finance plan
- call time, event management and a pledge/thank you letter program
- donor research, including VPAP, Open Secrets and other means
- building, implementing and managing an email fundraising program
- knowledge of Act Blue and NGP as well as filing accurate compliance reports
- managing candidate time and schedule.
A successful applicant will be prepared to work campaign hours, often times involving weekends and late nights. Races are located throughout the Commonwealth, re-location to or near the district is required; supporter housing is often available. Must have access to a dependable vehicle.
