Do you want to manage a campaign for municipal office in Greater Boston?
Several progressive Democrats running for municipal office across Greater Boston are hiring campaign managers. If you are highly organized, personable, have a passion for politics, and are ready to assist in all aspects of the campaign, this position is perfect for you.
The Campaign Manager will work directly with the candidate and campaign consultant on all aspects of the campaign, including:
- Developing a field plan, communication plan, and fundraising plan
- Recruiting and managing volunteers for voter contact and GOTV.
- Staffing the candidate and representing the candidate when the candidate is unavailable.
- Experience in a campaign-style organization -- an electoral campaign, a community organization, or campus organizing.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse set of voters and volunteers.
- Must be able to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.
- Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred but not necessary.
This position runs from June to November.
