Head of Partnerships

Location: Washington, DC

Whether it is creating and managing a network of high profile advocacy organizations to use a new tool or advocate in Congress, or brokering agreements between local political parties that can help new candidates emerge, you'll have your hands full with exhilarating and satisfying work in the social impact space as Crowdpac's new Head of Partnerships.


We need a highly motivated, highly entrepreneurial organizer to join our senior leadership team as Head of Partnerships. In this role, you will use your formidable networks and create new ones to keep your finger on the pulse of political activity happening in Washington DC and around the country. You will pitch, broker, and close deals amongst organizations with similar aims that can benefit from Crowdpac's unique value propositions.     


Whether it is raising millions of dollars, generating big lists of new donors, responding rapidly to news with tools and campaigns that create results, or being a key part of long term investments in candidate recruitment or capacity building, you will be Crowdpac's chief representative to key groups, organizations, and constituencies from coast to coast working to make change.


Responsibilities:

  • You will need to establish and maintain a mastery of Crowdpac's value propositions and creatively explain, apply and pitch them at every opportunity to potential partners.

  • You will key part of our senior leadership team keeping the company up to date day to day on key developments and opportunities in the political marketplace.

  • You will manage a small team to support you and the partnerships you create.

  • You will be responsible for making significant contributions to our company growth targets through the partnerships you create and maintain.   


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, organizing, or advocacy.

  • Deep political networks and current relationships with decision makers at key political organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of the American political system and marketplace including state and local levels.  

  • Demonstrated success building networks, hitting goals, making change, and/or closing deals.

  • Fluency with modern digital fundraising tools, tactics, and techniques.

  • A willingness to travel.

  • The ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

  • Campaign and/or advocacy experience strongly preferred.
