Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey has two job openings on our public affairs statewide team.

                                                                                                                                   

Generation Action Manager 

Are you passionate about protecting and expanding access to sexual and reproductive health care in New Jersey? Do you have experience working with college students, diverse stakeholders, and managing multi-faceted programs? Parenthood Action Fund of NJ is seeking an entrepreneurial individual with a passion for grassroots organizing and empowering volunteers to be leaders.The Generation Action Manager reports tothe Field Director and is responsible for organizing our campus based advocacy and outreach program in New Jersey. The GAM leads programs to harness the power, energy, and enthusiasm of young people to fight for reproductive freedom. This position is responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with volunteers and a wide range of campus and community based coalition partners to advance the mission of Planned Parenthood.

 

Ideal candidateswill have 2-3 yearsprevious experience in grassroots organizing and managing volunteer programs. We are seeking a creative thinker who is fast on their feet, willing to try new things and works collaboratively with teams.This position requires frequent travel across the state and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

 

Legislative & Political Manager

 

Are you passionate about protecting and expanding access to sexual and reproductive health care in New Jersey? Do you have experience working with elected officials, analyzing legislation and persuading others to take action? Planned Parenthood Action Fund of NJ is seeking an entrepreneurial individual with knowledge of the legislative process and issue advocacy strategies to join our team.The Manager reports to the Legislative and Political Director and is responsible for implementing strategic outreach to advocate and gain support for legislative and regulatory proposals to a wide range of external audiences.This individual also leads grassroots organizing on statewide campaigns and serves as an ambassador with volunteers, coalition partners and other key stakeholders. 

 

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years previous experience in government relations along with grassroots organizing or working on campaigns. We are seeking a creative thinker who is fast on their feet, willing to try new things and works collaboratively with teams.This position requires frequent travel across the state and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
