DSCC Digital Department Seeks Email Production Manager

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is looking to hire a production manager to help manage a large and active grassroots email program. You will be responsible for reviewing produced email copy, acting as a final quality assurance check on email sends, and tracking results for a large-scale testing program.
 
If you are passionate about the nitty-gritty details of email fundraising, are known for your attention to detail, and have a knack for spotting the smallest of errors, you will find a great home on our team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Review produced email copy and act as a final check on every email blast
  • Ensure accurate targeting and audience segmentation on all email sends
  • Check that all links have the correct structure and redirect path
  • Coordinate with senior staff to ensure email has been approved before the production associate hits "send"
  • Coordinate with data team to ensure email audiences are up-to-date
  • Assist in overflow writing and production needs
  • Track @info account
  • Analyze message performance to identify trends and insights that will lead to future optimization
 
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in email marketing for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or non-profit
  • Intimate knowledge of every step of the email production process
  • Exceptional proofing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with website CMS, CRM, or online organizing platforms (e.g. Blue State Digital, Convio, Silverpop, ActionKit)
 
Preference given for experience with:
  • Blue State Digital
  • HTML/CSS
  • Email production
  • Statistical analysis and reporting
