National Finance Director

Julián for the Future (the Campaign) is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven and qualified individual to serve as National Finance Director. The position will be responsible for creating, leading, and directing all fundraising efforts for the campaign. The National Finance Director will help establish and execute campaign-wide fundraising priorities, processes, products and strategies. This position is based in San Antonio, Texas, and is eligible for comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance. Relocation assistance is available on a case-by-case basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Design and implement nationwide finance plan in conjunction with the Campaign Chair and Campaign Manager.
· Coordinate with Chief Operating Officer to monitor compliance and appropriately solicit, track, and report campaign finance contributions and expenditures.
· Coordinate with COO on producing and maintaining fundraising budget;
· Oversee national fundraising operation, including travel, donor targeting, and events;
· Manage online, direct mail, and all fundraising consultants
· Hire, manage, and train staff, interns, and volunteers as needed or directed
The National Finance Director must be a self-starter with multiple cycles of large-scale fundraising experience. The candidate must be willing to work hours consistent with fundraising responsibilities in a fast-paced national Presidential campaign environment. The National Finance Director should possess excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, an entrepreneurial spirit, instinct for creative problem-solving and a good humored and collegial approach to working with other staff, volunteers and donors.
