A local Democratic primary in the DC suburbs is hiring canvassers for June 11th primary. Join an energetic insurgent campaign in a highly competitive race. Campaign office is metro accessible.
-- Schedule & Hours: Flexible schedule, part- or full-time opportunities depending on availability. Set your own schedule week-to-week.
Pay: Shift pay at $15 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Either independently or with a team:
- Perform door-to-door canvassing
- Communicate with voters and maintain message discipline
- Be punctual and manage own- and canvass-team time
- Maintain and deliver quantitative and qualitative data to campaign leadership
- Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends
Canvassers must have:
- Strong verbal & interpersonal skills
- Access to a working smartphone with data and full charge
- Transportation to campaign office, transportation to canvass neighborhoods will be provided
