Targeted Southern US Senate Race ISO Finance Staff
A US Senate candidate in a targeted race in the South seeks a finance staffer to manage candidate call time and assist the finance team with in-state and national events. This is a full time position based in Columbia, SC. The finance staffer will work closely with the Finance Director and members of the national finance team to ensure all call time and fundraising goals are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Researching current and prospective donors
- Producing call sheets, tracking and completing necessary follow-up
- Preparing call lists for national and in-state events
- Staffing call time
- Keeping finance plan up-to-date
- Working with Finance Director and national finance staff to build successful fundraising events
- Other duties as needed by members of the Finance and Campaign leadership teams
Qualifications
- Minimum one cycle of campaign finance work
- Experience with NGP and other finance software, and proficiency with Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), and G Suite (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- Lives in or willing to relocate to South Carolina for the duration of this campaign cycle
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Enthusiastic about helping elect the next Democratic senator from the South!
Salary is commensurate with experience. Preferred start date is by May 15th but is negotiable.
