We are seeking an experienced, thoughtful, passionate, detail-oriented visionary to fill the role of Director of Videography. This role reports directly to the Partners of the firm and will oversee the successful production of content for all GCK Consulting video production projects. This position will work closely with executive leadership to ensure that content is produced with set elements and themes in place. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production:
  • Responsible for all aspects of the video production process, from concept to completion, within budget
  • Develop, build, and maintain an effective production infrastructure and internal workflows to enable fast-paced, successful delivery of our original productions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-production team conflicts as they arise
  • Set and enforce fair and efficient production policies
  • Regularly update executive team members on the status of projects
  • Work as a liaison between clients, production team, post-production team, and company executives
Budgeting:
  • Assists the executive team in setting the overall department budget and reports spending in weekly meetings.
Team Manager:
  • Partner with leadership and HR to develop and grow talent and manage performance when necessary.
  • Lead the team by example and respond to all production and production-personnel issues in a professional and timely manner
Equipment Management:
  • Maintain a working knowledge of equipment in stock and oversee and delegate any updates or repairs
  • Build and grow relationships with key vendors
REQUIREMENTS 

The ideal candidate has/is:
  • 2+ years as a Production Manager, Producer, and/or Line Producer preferred
  • Previous experience as a manager of staff (preferably multiple teams of staff members)
  • Previous experience with equipment management a huge plus
  • Excels in high volume and high responsibility/accountability positions
  • Must have an expert level understanding of the full production process from conceptualization through final delivery
  • Experienced working with budgets from approx. $25,000 to $1M
  • Must possess excellent conflict management skills and have experience managing junior and senior level production staff
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism while navigating the pressures of a fast-paced production environment
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in to get the work done flawlessly
  • Knowledge and experience with Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram analytics is a big plus
  • Frequent domestic travel (up to 50% of the time)
