We are running a grassroots, people-powered campaign and we need a group of talented and dedicated interns to make it happen. Interns will play a key role in helping us build the grassroots organization we need to win the primary and then win the election in November.
What we are looking for...
We are looking for people who are hustlers, ideators, creators and doers. We want a team of talented people who are willing to lean in and do things differently. We aren't the classic, playbook campaign and neither is our team. Campaign experience is great, but not required. We are mostly interested in relatable skills, commitment and passion.
In specific, we are looking for applicants that have experience, knowledge, and fervor in the following areas:
Research
Social media
Communications + press
Grassroots fundraising
Organizing + volunteer management
Data management and analysis
We are also looking for applicants with the following interpersonal skills:
Self-directed and motivated
Interested in progressive policy
Detail-oriented without losing sight of the overall plan + objective
Good communication
Respect for all people
Healthy dose of positivity
Other items :
We need applicants who have immediate availability and the capacity to intern for at least 20-40 hours per week
Those who can be available for evening or weekend work, and those who can be available during normal business hours
We also aren't just against Susan Collins but we are for the people of Maine so applicants must have fierce love and dedication for the state of Maine.
The benefits
Interns will participate in campaign training, receive structured coaching and support, and work closely with staff to implement our plan to persuade and mobilize Democratic voters.

Compensation
Stipends will be provided to interns that are up equivalent to industry standards. Course credit is also available.
