Bennet for America is seeking a New Hampshire State Director to develop and execute a plan to lead Sen. Michael Bennet to victory in the First-in-the-Nation primary. As the top campaign staffer in the state, the State Director will need to be self-motivated, experienced in campaign and staff management and have a history of creative problem-solving.
Primary job responsibilities include:
· Developing and executing a metrics-based campaign plan that builds capacity, engages local activists, takes advantage of political dynamics in the state, and holds team members accountable to the goals laid out
· Hiring and managing in-state campaign staff
· Conducting political outreach and engagement with key in-state stakeholders
· Coordinating with national campaign leadership on communications, digital, and voter contact strategies
· Building in-state campaign events, including for candidate and surrogate visits to the state
Minimum requirement and job skills:
· 3-5+ years experience in campaign management
· Staff management experience, specifically grassroots organizing and political staff management
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Strong planning and strategic skills
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
· Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs
· Enthusiasm for political campaigns and ability to execute tasks within a team dynamic
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, meet deadlines and accept constructive criticism
· Ability to work on evenings and weekends as necessary
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Candidates with prior New Hampshire experience will be given preference
