Progressive Democratic U.S. Senate candidate in the South is seeking a Call Time Manager to join the campaign to flip a seat and help take back the Senate. This is not an entry level position - applicants should have at least one cycle of campaign experience, preferably with a finance department. Ideal candidates for this role are personable, patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and determined. Start date is end of July/early August.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Working with the finance director to execute the finance plan and meet call time goals.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date database records for the campaign. This includes managing appropriate trackers, software and reports as well as sending around daily/weekly finance updates to the finance director and manager.
Effectively managing and communicating with the candidate during call time.
Managing finance assistants and interns.
Helping build a research plan to grow the campaign's donor base.
Traveling with and staffing the candidate at various fundraising events around the state and/or country.
Assisting with other campaign related activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
1 cycle or more of campaign experience
Team player with an ability to multitask. Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Desired additional qualifications:
Previous statewide or congressional campaign finance experience.
Experience with Act Blue, VoteBuilder, and RevUp
Prior experience targeting and researching contributors, as well as following up with pledges.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NGP.
