[jobsthatareLEFT by GAIN] Call Time Manager for Top-Tier U.S. Senate Campaign in the South

Progressive Democratic U.S. Senate candidate in the South is seeking a Call Time Manager to join the campaign to flip a seat and help take back the Senate. This is not an entry level position - applicants should have at least one cycle of campaign experience, preferably with a finance department. Ideal candidates for this role are personable, patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and determined. Start date is end of July/early August.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Working with the finance director to execute the finance plan and meet call time goals. 

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date database records for the campaign. This includes managing appropriate trackers, software and reports as well as sending around daily/weekly finance updates to the finance director and manager.                         

  • Effectively managing and communicating with the candidate during call time.

  • Managing finance assistants and interns.

  • Helping build a research plan to grow the campaign's donor base. 

  • Traveling with and staffing the candidate at various fundraising events around the state and/or country.                                        

  • Assisting with other campaign related activities as needed. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 1 cycle or more of campaign experience

  • Team player with an ability to multitask. Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.

 

Desired additional qualifications:

  •  Previous statewide or congressional campaign finance experience.

  • Experience with Act Blue, VoteBuilder, and RevUp

  •  Prior experience targeting and researching contributors, as well as following up with pledges.

  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NGP.
