SUMMARY
For over three decades, GQR has used sophisticated polling and opinion research to help leading candidates, parties, government leaders, corporations, and advocacy groups across the United States and around the world. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Associate to join our team. This entry-level position offers you an opportunity to showcase your proficient research and proofing skills in support of all aspects of international and corporate projects, while also strengthening your grasp of base-level survey research skills. If you have a high interest in opinion research and translating data into actionable insights for clients, this is the position for you!

In this role, you will proofread data and writing for accuracy, and will provide assistance on digital, communications, and campaign projects. You will support our senior staff by conducting background research, preparing materials, monitoring surveys, and reviewing data. You will coordinate with other internal departments to ensure we meet all project needs.

 

As a Project Associate at GQR, you will receive mentorship and training to help you grow your skills and network for personal and professional development. We will look to you to be a team-player, offering ideas and demonstrating to our team your willingness to pitch in and help your colleagues and team succeed. Our Project Associates also serve as mentors on our team, helping to guide and support the growth of our interns through direct mentorship and hands-on training.

HOURS & TRAVEL

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Monday through Friday.  Some after hours and weekend work as needed. Domestic and international travel required for focus groups. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  5. Flexibility to changing situations and needs, both internal and external
  6. Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast paced environment
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff
  8. Basic knowledge in the design, development, and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methods a plus
  9. Knowledge of campaign structures and processes
  10. Knowledge of digital/social media/PR strategies a plus
  11. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  12. Spanish fluency a major plus
