We are looking for a finance director for a statewide elected official in the Pacific Northwest. The finance director will lead the fundraising efforts that include, but are not limited to:
· Creating, managing and executing the fundraising plan
· Setting goals and monitoring income
· Establishing systems and procedures the for finance department
· Recruiting, training, and supervising finance staff and consultants
· Leading donor prospecting and expanding the principal's network
· Creating and managing a call time program and follow up system
· Organizing in-state and national events
· Supervising finance staff, consultants, vendors and interns
· Briefing and staffing the principal for events and meetings
· Coordinating and collaborating with the principal, campaign staff, consultants, and donors
Qualifications:
Served in senior fundraising roles for a statewide or multi-million dollar campaign.
Proven track record of developing, tracking, and maintaining donor relations.
Proven track record of raising funds from diverse sources, both high and low dollar.
Experience in comprehending and complying with campaign finance laws and regulations.
Ability to identify, cultivate and make large funding requests of major donors.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Proficiency in NGP software.
