Who you are:
  • Skilled analyst of financial data and trends. 
  • Meticulously organized, independent, and capable of quickly producing polished reports and materials.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, ideally including at least 1-3 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
  • Highly reliable and detail-oriented.
  • A hungry go-getter who is willing to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
What you will be doing:
  • Developing a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Developing strategies to accomplish the long-term financial goals of the agency. 
  • Maintaining financial records by filing documents.
  • Preparing financial reports, including weekly and monthly reports, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Managing day-to-day accounting activities of the firm, including payroll, revenue recognition, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing; including invoicing, credit card processing, and deposits
  • Analyzing market trends and the company's financial information to find opportunities for expansion or ways to reduce costs.
  • Reaching out to appropriate internal departments as needed.
  • Regularly working with the management team to improve processes.
  • Assisting management in making financial decisions. 
Your experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • At least 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel are a must. Experience with ADP is preferred.
