Who you are:
- Skilled analyst of financial data and trends.
- Meticulously organized, independent, and capable of quickly producing polished reports and materials.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, ideally including at least 1-3 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
- Highly reliable and detail-oriented.
- A hungry go-getter who is willing to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
What you will be doing:
- Developing a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Developing strategies to accomplish the long-term financial goals of the agency.
- Maintaining financial records by filing documents.
- Preparing financial reports, including weekly and monthly reports, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities of the firm, including payroll, revenue recognition, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing; including invoicing, credit card processing, and deposits
- Analyzing market trends and the company's financial information to find opportunities for expansion or ways to reduce costs.
- Reaching out to appropriate internal departments as needed.
- Regularly working with the management team to improve processes.
- Assisting management in making financial decisions.
Your experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- At least 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel are a must. Experience with ADP is preferred.
