CAMPAIGN MANAGER – TEXAS CONGRESSIONAL RACE
Seeking an experienced Campaign Manager for a democratic candidate in an exciting Texas Congressional race. The ideal candidate is committed to party ideals, extremely organized and knowledgeable about Texas politics.
Responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of the campaign including the development and execution of the campaign plan, including the fundraising, field, and media plans
· Effectively manage the campaign team
· Manage the candidate's time
· Oversee the campaign budget, legal and fiduciary requirements
· Build an effective grassroots campaign including coalition building, local team leaders, and direct voter engagement
· Design and oversee get-out-the-vote activities
· Overseeing the campaign budget
· Coordinate with Finance Director on fundraiser goals and activities
· Coordinate with consultants on messaging, media and digital activities
Qualifications and experience
· Knowledge of Texas politics
· Campaign experience (2-3 campaign cycles) as campaign manager or field director and at least 5 years of organizing or campaign experience
· Ability to effectively manage and inspire a team
· Ability to problem-solve independently and take creative approaches to meeting goals
· Experience in coordinating media purchase, production, and media relations
· Fundraising experience and knowledge of campaign funding sources
· Ability to excel and perform in a high-stress, fast paced environment
· Must be able to work campaign hours as well as nights and weekends as needed
On-site location, full time schedule, salary commensurate with experience
