Summary:
Democratic Majority for Israel-- Pro-Israel, Pro- two state, Progressives-- is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated organizers in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina. Organizers will engage supporters in the early states. Organizers with Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI) will have key opportunities to participate in early state politics, while empowering pro-Israel democrats to take part in this pivotal election. Organizers will report directly to each state director.
Responsibilities:
• Engage, recruit, and train pro-Israel progressives across each state
• Build community with state leaders to host House Parties and Organizing Meetings
• Represent DMFI at Democratic, community, and Presidential campaign events
• Work within your state's team to engage and empower pro-Israel democrats to help elect the next democratic president
• Reach week and monthly organizing goals including volunteer recruitment, pledges to vote, and organizing meetings
Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree and/or experience organizing/volunteering for campaigns, political organizations, advocacy groups, and/or progressive nonprofits
• Scrappy solutions-oriented thinkers
• Capable of managing multiple competing priorities and adept at time management
• Commitment to lifelong learning and growth
• Are comfortable speaking and working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences
Compensation:
Salary is $3,750/month, benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off and time off for federal holidays.
