Campaign Manager for Progressive, Dynamic, Woman of Color in Maryland Congressional Race:
§ Reports to the candidate and consultant while managing the candidate's daily agenda and staff.
§ Directs all aspects of implementation of a congressional campaign plan including fundraising, operations, call time, field, earned, owned, and paid media in accordance with the candidate's and consultant's guidance and direction.
§ Creates, develops, and oversees the budget.
§ Manages relationships with all vendors, consultants, and staff including general, fundraising, field, and communications.
§ Initiates and fosters strong working relationships with grasstops and grassroots leaders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
§ The campaign manager should have at least 3 years of political campaign management experience, and or at least one cycle of experience managing a Congressional campaign.
§ Must have the ability to work with media representatives, including, but not limited to, as the spokesperson for the campaign, and know how to develop owned, earned, and paid media opportunities.
§ Must be knowledgeable and have the skill set to ensure the proper execution of fundraising strategies and tactics.
§ Must have the demonstrated ability to work with diverse communities.
§ Must have a strong, healthy work ethic, recognizing the importance of working hard and efficiently to ensure the needs of the campaign are a top priority through the duration of the election cycle.
