Looking for a motivated, self starter who is interested in the Political Fundraising and non-profit development space. We are a small, bi-coastal boutique firm consulting for top political campaigns and non-profit organizations. We provide guidance on major donor cultivation, event planning & management, cause marketing, & strategic philanthropic engagement. We are a fast paced work environment, so ability to move between projects and multitasking is key. This is primarily a scheduling management position but there is tremendous opportunity for growth and promotion.
Responsibilities include:
- managing master calendar for the entire team including flagging conflicts
- updating and sending 3 versions of the calendar daily (shared google calendar, daily written calendar, and client calendar)
- scheduling meetings and calls for team as needed
- participating in calls as directed, taking notes and making sure tasks discussed are completed
- managing itineraries for client meetings and trips
- assisting in logistics for meetings and staff
- researching and booking travel (car and driver, hotels, flights) for entire team and clients
- changing and researching new flights based on updated needs which can at times occur before or after standard working hours
- tracking all expenses for all team members and submitting reimbursements to all clients monthly
- sending reminders before every conference call
- maintaining daily "to do" list for team
- helping to track staff to do list and shifting projects among staff as needed
- assisting with updating our contacts and database
- assisting in organizing office and materials for events
- keeping track of office supplies in both LA and DC office and ordering supplies when needed.
- keeping office organized, managing payment of monthly staff parking, retrieving mail/packages
- assisting in the delivery of materials to principals, picking up and dropping off items for clients
- tracking and maintaining all flight and hotel credits/certificates
- maintaining and sending daily principal to-do list/call schedule
- managing flight/hotel/car/ups/office depot accounts
- assisting with check in, escorting guests, and other items as needed at events

Our office is in Playa Vista (Los Angeles), CA. This is a full time position. Because our clients are elected officials and subject to the constraints of their official duties, many of our events occur on nights and weekends.
Compensation range of $50,000-$60,000 based on experience, plus potential for performance based bonuses.
