Overview:
In 2018, David Holden got the best result by a Democrat for Congress in the 18-year-history of the Southwest Florida's Congressional District. David's focus on the environment, his openness to voters and his aggressive campaign resulted in outpacing statewide Democrats by over 13,000 votes. Now the seat is open, and the campaign needs a finance director to oversee fundraising in the key district.

Naples-Ft. Myers, Florida
Responsibilities:
The Finance Director is responsible for developing and executing the fundraising plan for Holden for Florida. This includes but is not limited to:
Manage call time and other activities to hit fundraising goals and deadlines
Manage and collaborate with relevant consultants and vendors
Supervise the finance team, build an internship program, and manage volunteers
Track day-to-day fundraising and disbursements, and work with compliance staff to ensure accurate FEC reporting
Facilitate all donor correspondence and follow up on pledges
Collaborate with campaign manager and other departments to hit shared goals
Maintain records of all relevant activity in databases like NGP and ActBlue
Oversee donor prospecting and research, and expand the candidate's donor networks
Help manage the campaign's fellowship program
Assist with other tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
Multiple cycles of finance experience, preferably in Florida
Preferred leadership or management experience on a campaign
Recent experience with latest fundraising tactics and tools
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with the candidate, campaign team and donors
Strong knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Microsoft Office
Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends
Preferably experience planning and executing fundraising events
Compensation commensurate with experience
