Representative Ben Ray Luján is seeking a Finance Director to join the campaign to help take back the Senate. The Finance Director will work with the campaign manager and consultant team to execute the campaign's finance plan. Ideal candidates for this role are personable, patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and determined. Start date is ASAP.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work with the campaign manager and fundraising consultants to draft and implement the campaign's finance plan.
Set up meetings and meet with key donors/political figures across the state.
Manage call time manager and implement call time programs, low and high dollar events both statewide and nationwide, donor prospecting and research.
Manage direct mail fundraising program to prospects and re-solicit universes.
Hiring and managing staff, volunteers, and interns as well as staffing the candidate at events.
Preparing reports on fundraising progress for the Campaign Manager and candidate.
Collect and maintain up-to-date and accurate database records for the campaign, including reports for all personal contacts between donors and campaign staff.
Required Qualifications
2 cycles of senior campaign finance experience.
Significant experience communicating with high dollar donors, organizing fundraising events, managing staff, and executing a finance plan.
Self-motivated team player with an ability to multitask. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, NGP, ActBlue, and other Democratic Party fundraising tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
