Full-Time Deputy Finance Director for Democratic Congressional Campaign in New York
Our team is looking to hire a passionate, motivated, and eager to learn campaign professional to join our finance team immediately. The essence of good fundraising turns a movement's passion for the important issues at hand into action and financial support.
This is a highly competitive, and closely watched primary in the suburbs of New York City.
Position Responsibilities:
- Candidate Call Time Preparation, Follow Up and Execution
- Detailed Donor Research
- Planning and executing low, medium, and high dollar fundraiser events
- Support the Finance Director in finance strategy
- Coordination of event notifications, pledge follow-ups and collection
- Creative input into fundraising development over the lifetime of the campaign
- Help manage and execute the candidate's daily schedule
- Accompanying the candidate to events and meetings in the district to capture and create digital content
- Maintain and regularly post on campaign's social media
- Assist candidate in their public interactions and collect important information for the campaign to utilize
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years or more of campaign experience. Fundraising experience preferred but not required
- A willingness to learn and adapt to our fundraising plan/strategy
- Detail oriented and very efficient time management
- Ability to work well with a team and on your own
- Ability to work with multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Workplace professionalism
- Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in creating organic social media content
- Knowledge of NGP
- Reliable transportation and a laptop
- Passion for electing Democrats
