Capitol Hill based Democratic fundraising and political consulting firm seeks Finance Assistant.
We are looking for a fundraising professional who will be joining a team of veteran campaign fundraisers to plan and execute DC/PAC fundraising plans for clients. Responsibilities include:
- Event planning: drafting invitations, booking venues and reviewing contracts, advancing and staffing events;
- Creating donor universe and staffing call time, completing all appropriate follow up;
- Networking: building and maintaining positive relationships with labor unions, government affairs professionals, lobbyists and others;
- Reports to Senior Management on weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects at one time;
- Proactive and comfortable working under tight deadlines;
- Very strong attention to detail;
- Personable, professional, and team-oriented;
- Effective communicator.
Fundraising experience and/or NGP experience is helpful, but not required.
