Senior Policy Manager
Platform Accountability and Corporate Consolidation
Color Of Change is hiring a full-time Senior Policy Manager in Washington, DC to join a cohort of staff from other organizations working on corporate consolidation and platform accountability. We are excited to bring on this 2-year grant-funded position.
This cohort will receive intense upfront lobbying training together as well as periodic follow-up sessions. The training is intended to prepare applicants for this full-time position which includes a 50% time focus on federal and state lobbying. No previous lobbying experience is required.
Successful candidates will:
Have a strong racial justice analysis, ideally with a focus on the harms of corporate monopolies to Black communities and the risks of an unregulated technology sector.
Spend at least 50% of their time working directly on federal and state lobbying.
Report to the Deputy Senior Campaign Director for Media, Culture, and Economic Justice.
Foster good relationships on the Hill with key staffers and offices to aid in advancing Color Of Change's legislative agenda.
Maintain a strong working relationship with staff across the Campaigns Team and other departments within Color Of Change.
Travel occasionally for staff gatherings, conferences, and campaign-related actions.
