Canvass Manager
Florida Senate Victory is seeking an experienced, full-time Canvass Manager to help manage an aggressive paid field program to elect democrats in red-to-blue targeted state legislative races. The canvass manager will work closely with the Florida Senate Victory team execute the field plan.
Senate Victory is the only full time political organization dedicated to protecting democrats in the Florida Senate and to building a democratic majority in the State Senate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in all canvasser recruitment activities and ensuring that recruitment goals are achieved throughout the duration of the program
Implement the complete interview and hiring process of all successful applicants
Ensure the training of all canvassers
Provide canvassers with the positive leadership culture, resources, guidance and technical support required to succeed during each phase of the program
Ensure compliance with FDLCC policies and best practices
Ensure all canvass shifts are launched and completed in a timely, orderly fashion
Promote the continued development of canvassers in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities over the course of the program
Communicate all pertinent on-the-ground information to, and providing timely response to requests from the canvassers under your direction
Ensure canvassers properly perform their roles and maintain accurate and reliable data
Provide daily, weekly, and period reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program's success
Qualifications
Strong commitment to electing democrats to the State Senate
Minimum of one cycle political experience preferred
Experience using VAN or similar database
Lives in or willing to relocate to Florida for the duration of the cycle
Work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed
