brilliant corners research & strategies is a small, progressive, nationally and internationally recognized polling firm seeking a Research Assistant to work in the fast-paced environment of qualitative and quantitative research. We are based in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Research relevant public polling and synthesize information into compelling storytelling.
· Write proposals for new projects and memos to summarize research for clients.
· Proofread and copy edit presentations, surveys, memos and other written materials.
· Organize the presentation of data in visually compelling ways in order to make it easier to understand, insightful and actionable to users.
· Assist with other research tasks such as formatting data in public facing documents.
· Carry out other projects or tasks as necessary to assist the team.
Desired Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Communications, Political Science or similar concentration required
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent editing and researching skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work with others efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Interest in electoral politics
