About the DCCC:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working campaign professionals who are committed to electing more Democrats and protecting the House majority.
Position Summary: The Deputy Digital Campaign Director will help oversee the digital fundraising programs of dozens of top tier congressional races across the country. They will help lead a large team that shapes digital strategy for battleground House races. Applicants should be creative, organized, hard-working and passionate about Democratic campaigns, with prior experience in online political fundraising.
Responsibilities Include:
• Leading other members of the team in email calendaring, drafting, production, testing, and analytics.
• Identifying and managing online surrogates for our battleground House races.
• Supporting digital strategists on the team in their skill development and training.
• Occasional support in planning and executing digital advertising campaigns.
• Liaising with external partners.
• Other duties as needed.
Skill and Qualifications:
• Two or more cycles of experience working with campaigns in the digital space.
• Excellent writing and copy editing skills.
• Familiarity with CRMs like NGP and BSD as well as knowledge of HTML.
• Passion for helping campaigns excel and innovate at digital fundraising.
• Curiosity about all aspects of digital campaigning, including but not limited to digital advertising, texting, combating disinformation, and content creation.
• Availability during evening and weekend hours; ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives
