The Digital Coordinator will work at the intersection of JVP's Development and Communications teams by coordinating, concepting and writing emails about our campaigns and fundraising.
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is creative, collaborative, and passionate about JVP's mission. They will be eager to translate our political work into messaging geared toward political and fundraising impact. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of knowledge and experience in development and digital communications, grounded in a commitment to grassroots movements for justice.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for digital components of seasonal fundraising efforts including contributing to year-end & summer fundraising campaigns, September match, and Giving Tuesday.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns on email and social media year-round, working with digital and fundraising teams for content and messaging.
- Drafting, editing, and loading emails for national campaigns.
- Load and send emails on behalf of our chapters in collaboration with member leaders
- Identifying digital fundraising opportunities, taking the idea from concept through execution.
- Play a liaison role as needed between the Fundraising and Digital Communications teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Has at least 2 years of digital campaigning experience via email and social, including experience with an email marketing CRM.
- Has at least 2 years of development related experience.
- Has strong and developed writing skills.
- Has a commitment to JVP mission, values, guiding principles and methods.
- Is exceptionally detail oriented.
- Has strong computer skills and is comfortable picking up tech platforms quickly.
- Is committed to racial justice transformation process, culture shift work within JVP, and to deepening accountabilities to Palestinians.
- Able to operate in a fast-movement environment, set priorities, and bring a collaborative approach even to the most difficult challenges.
- Is comfortable talking about JVP's work -- our theory of change, campaigns and programs.
This is a non-exempt, salaried, full-time position. The salary is in the mid to high 50k range (commensurate with experience) with a generous benefits package. People of color, Sephardi and/or Mizrahi applicants and transgender or gender non-conforming applicants strongly encouraged to apply.
