Ideal candidates have at least 1 year experience developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic online projects. Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. - Working under supervision and independently on front-end and back-end development, primarily using Drupal and WordPress
- Developing custom tools and platforms that integrate with APIs from Facebook, Twitter, Box, Google, MapBox, and more
- Create clean, easily navigable, and search-engine friendly projects of varying complexity
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative and optimized solutions Work with our team to implement design elements from concept to completion of project
- Help maintain and support a variety of web properties
- Implementing responsive designs
- Prototyping tools to expand company offerings and efficiency
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Solid HTML hand coding skills with the ability to build clean, functional, optimized web pages and user interfaces
- Working knowledge of PHP and MYSQL
- Familiarity with modern opensource content management systems like Drupal and Wordpress
- Knowledge of AJAX and javascript frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
- Ability to build cross-browser compatible websites
- Must be a team player with a positive and adaptable attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion and pride in your work and love for open source
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with MVC frameworks
- Experience working with GIT
- Contribution to developer community websites like Stack Exchange, Drupal.org or Github
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs
