Florida Field Director
This position is for a Field Director for Democratic competitive targeted races in Florida for the 2020 cycle. Field Directors will lead the candidates' voter targeting and contact goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Ability to write and implement a comprehensive, data-driven field plan
Build and manage a field team, including field organizers, paid canvassers, and volunteers, to execute said complex field plan
Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement and GOTV
Design and standardize best practices for data management using the campaign's voter file software
Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization focused on accountability, specific goals, innovation and sense of purpose
Manage the field program budget and logistics in collaboration with senior staff
Qualifications:
1+ cycles of campaign field experience
Knowledge of VAN and Excel
Strong written and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Time management skills are a must
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
