Job Title: Field Organizer
Job Length: Contract through May 5th Primary; Possibility for extension and promotion

Job Description:
Blad for Indiana is seeking a Field Organizer who will be responsible for planning and executing the campaign field plan and managing field volunteers. The Organizer will also be accountable for all quantitative and qualitative field metrics. The primary task of the Field Organizer will be to recruit, train, organize, and manage volunteer engagement with the campaign.
The Field Organizer will report directly to the Candidate and Senior Consultant. Pay will be commensurate with the local pay scale and will include a win bonus.
Garrett Blad is from South Bend, Indiana and is running for Indiana State House in the 6th District, which makes up the majority of South Bend. Garrett is the National Press Coordinator for the Sunrise Movement and the former Executive Coordinator of SustainUS. He led the US's youth delegation to the UN Climate Talks and is a passionate organizer who has spent his career fighting for environmental justice.
Qualifications
● A genuine passion for stopping the climate crisis and creating millions of good jobs.
● Excellent relationship management skills
● Excellent organizational and planning skills
● Ability to project manage multiple events and tracks of work simultaneously
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating attention to detail and emotional intelligence
● Comfort working independently to meet goals
● Adept at building coalitions among stakeholders
Preferred skills:
● Political or issue-based organizing experience
● One cycle of political experience
● Proficiency with NGP VAN or similar database/volunteer management tools
● Bachelor's Degree preferred
