Charles Booker for Senate is seeking Field Organizers for the 2020 campaign cycle. Charles Booker has spent the last decade fighting for everyday Kentuckians, and he is dedicated to making our voices heard in the US Senate. We are building a movement of people all across Kentucky who are excited about our campaign, and we need energetic and creative Field Organizers to help carry out our plan to reach and activate voters across the commonwealth.
Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and manage teams of volunteers to meet voter contact and capacity-building goals.
Build relationships with volunteers and allied organizations to seek out volunteer leaders and ambassadors for Charles Booker in various parts of Kentucky.
Lead canvasses, phone banks, and other volunteer events.
Personally execute voter contact by canvassing, attending events, making phone calls, and texting voters.
Daily data entry of organizing and voter contact data.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous campaign experience or experience working with volunteers preferred
Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals and enthusiasm for electing Charles Booker.
Familiarity or willingness to learn campaign technology such as Google Suites, Votebuilder, etc.
Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly in a fast paced work environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
A valid driver's license, reliable motor vehicle, and laptop computer.
