GQR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Analyst to join our team. This mid-level position offers you an opportunity to showcase your proficient data and proofing skills, while also strengthening your grasp of survey research skills.


In this role, you will proofread data for accuracy, and build statistical visual outputs for reports and presentations. Over time, there will be opportunity for you to assist with the analysis of quantitative data, including surveys and regression analysis. You will support our senior staff by reviewing data, maintaining our database design, and crafting first drafts of deliverables. You will coordinate with other internal departments to ensure we meet all project needs.


As an Assistant Analyst at GQR, you will receive mentorship and training to help you grow your skills and network for personal and professional development. We will look to you to be a team-player, offering ideas and demonstrating to our team your willingness to pitch in and help your colleagues and team succeed. Our Assistant Analysts also serve as mentors on our team, helping to guide and support the growth of our interns through direct mentorship and hands-on training.

Qualifications:

  • Hardworking attitude
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Flexibility to changing situations and needs, both internal and external
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Basic knowledge in the design, development, and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Knowledge of campaign structures and processes
  • Knowledge of STATA, R, or SPSS required
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity of working with databases, including adding data, taking out subsets of data
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel
