Lauren Underwood for Congress is seeking a passionate Digital Strategist to join Congresswoman Lauren Underwood's re-election campaign! The Digital Strategist will be an integral component of the Lauren Underwood for Congress digital team as we create inspiring, effective digital content for our channels.
The Digital Strategist will focus on creating innovative and engaging content and increasing engagement online while working closely under the direction of the Digital Director.
Responsibilities include:
Write sharp and engaging content for email, social media, SMS, and other digital platforms
Load and checklist emails using HTML and CSS
Work with Digital Director to craft and execute the campaign's digital strategy
Analyze performance metrics to drive content testing and optimization
Applicant Must Have:
Excellent writing skills
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines
Enthusiasm and commitment to master emerging technologies
Willingness to work extensive hours, including nights and weekends
Strong commitment to progressive values and the campaign's core values (described below)
HTML/CSS and graphic design skills
Experience with ActBlue and email CRMs (NGP 8)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly the Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro programs
Applicants will be considered more competitive if they have:
Previous experience working on digital programs for a political campaign or organization
Video editing skills
Proficiency in graphic design, website design, video editing, etc.
Proficiency in Google docs and Microsoft Office

This job is based in IL-14. Successful applicants will be expected to re-locate when it is safe to do so. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
