Candidate for State Representative, Cam Charbonnier in Boston is seeking a campaign manager for his campaign. Cam is a long time resident of the district and has served the community in many ways over the years.
He is specifically looking for a campaign manager with a background or experience in digital organizing.
General Responsibilities:
The campaign manager will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day campaign operations.
This will include:
Helping to coordinate fundraising operations, with a specific focus on online giving and managing the campaign budget.
Managing the campaigns targeted voter universe and volunteer database, helping to both encourage new volunteers and ensure maximum voter outreach and contact.
They will also assist the candidate and campaign consultants in the overall development and implementation of the campaign strategy.
Specific Responsibilities:
Managing the campaign email list, performing tasks such as sending broadcast emails and responding to incoming requests and questions.
They will be responsible for all social media and web activity, with a specific focus on planning and executing strategies and tactics for reaching target audiences over social media platforms thus helping to ensure that the campaign is heard online and that the campaign's message is advanced across all platforms.
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of campaign experience. Digital and/or field organizing experience preferred.
Familiarity with Votebuilder and Nation Builder.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Background in web or graphic design preferred.
This is a full-time job, payment is competitive with the market.
