Freelance digital opportunities at ParentsTogether (digital campaigning and social media)

Hi, I'm helping ParentsTogether find a couple of folks to take on temporary(~2-4 months) contracting/freelance opportunities. These roles can all be done remotely within the US.

Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in applying.

Here's some more about the project:

The current crisis we're in has exposed and exacerbated all the ways in which our country has been failing to support vulnerable families and children.

Structural racism means families of color are being hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, by the economic crisis we're in AND by the inequities of remote learning.

The ParentsTogether team is working overtime to lift up the voices of parents who are struggling, and to help parents organize together for urgently needed action. In this work, ParentsTogether is taking an explicitly intersectional approach.

If you'd like to work with them on this, check out the opportunities for two freelance digital campaigners
and one freelance social media strategist

The digital campaigner roles will be between 20-40 hours a week, with a fee of $50-90 per hour.

The social media strategist role will be approximately 10 hours a week, with a fee of $30-60 per hour.

This project is fast-moving and they're looking for folks who can get going quickly. To that end, they're not asking for a full proposal -- but are looking for folks to submit the materials they are asking for by Wednesday, June 24.

Please note: They're very clear that they have three spots and want to work with one person per slot. They view these as freelance/contractor opportunities, and are not interested in working with agencies on this (although will consider a very small firm for the campaigner roles).
