The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a Brand Partnerships Coordinator with experience in content creation and social media strategy to join our content team in Austin, Texas. Have a passion for all things talent, influencers, celebrities, pop culture, strategy, and social impact. We're looking for a coordinator who is passionate about fighting Trump Republicans in Texas and working to build Texas Democratic Party infrastructure
What you'll do:
- Facilitate the planning and execution of influencer marketing campaigns and act as a liaison between influencers
- Manage our online rapid response volunteers
- Develop opportunities for brand partnerships, licensing, and merchandise
- Create custom proposals for brand partners
- Strategize influencer activity based on messaging, elections, finance, and calendar activities
- Help report on key metrics to be reviewed by the team; including engagements, clicks, number of posts, and the number of creators we've partnered (candidates, political influencers, etc.)
- Monitor social media and news outlets for breaking news and messaging opportunities
- Provide key backup for the Texas Democrats website and other members of the team as needed. Provides support to other projects as needed.
Preference given for experience with
- Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and a sense of excitement for new innovations in digital communication, mobilization, and organizing
- Good at building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
- Adobe Creative Suite is a significant plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly collaborative and communicative
- The ability to be proactive and decisive
- Comfortable working under deadline pressure, rapid response
- A willingness to work long hours as needed
- Ability to manage a wide range of projects and responsibilities concurrently
