Steven Horsford, who is a DCCC Frontline candidate running for re-election in Nevada's 4th Congressional District, is seeking a full time Finance Assistant to help the campaign raise additional resources needed for this fall.
Preferred (but not required) candidates will have previous political campaign or fundraising experience. Familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, and, Microsoft Excel is a plus.
Responsibilities of the position include the following: Researching prospective donors for the campaign, updating notes and donor information in NGP, staffing virtual and (depending on circumstances) in person events for the campaign, helping expand the campaigns call time universe, recruiting small dollar event hosts for the campaign, scheduling donor coffees for the Congressman, and helping manage the campaign's fellowship program.
Ideal candidates will be well organized, able to manage several tasks & projects at once, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
This is a full time position that begins immediately. Candidates must be willing to re-locate to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
