The George Scott for State Senate campaign is seeking a Field Director. George is running in SD-15, a top targeted 2020 district, crucial to flipping the Pennsylvania Senate.
George is a Veteran and Pastor who ran an extremely competitive 2018 race for Congress in Pennsylvania's 10th district, coming within a few points of flipping a seat that Trump won by 9 points.
Responsibilities
The Field Director will report directly to the Campaign Manager and will be responsible for a robust field program on a 7-figure campaign. They will work closely with leadership and the candidate, including:
Managing all aspects of field program including paid and volunteer canvass
Work with the coordinated campaign in our region and other targeted races in our region
Develop a digital organizing program to reach out to voters virtually
Execute our main Mail-in ballot program
Manage Field Organizers and paid canvassers
Any other campaign-related tasks, as assigned
Required Qualifications
At least two campaign cycles of campaign-related experience. One cycle of managing staff preferred.
Experience with VAN/Votebuilder
Extensive experience with Google Sheets/Excel
Understanding of digital organizing and digital organizing tools
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding but fulfilling environment which includes evening
and weekend hours
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellence-focused
Ability to travel across the district and access to a car or reliable transportation
This is a full-time position based in Harrisburg, PA (COVID-19 Pandemic pending), with competitive salary and benefits. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and the start date is flexible.
