I've sent these around awhile ago, but wanted to send a reminder that the application deadline for both these roles is Sunday evening. So if you're interested, please get those applications in. (And please note: You'll have to apply directly to the orgs as directed in the job listings.)
---------- Forwarded message ---------
Hi, I'm currently recruiting for two remote digital strategy jobs at great orgs that make use of the Race-Class Narrative, which is a cutting-edge narrative framework and strategic approach born out of empirical research showing that progressives win when we focus on the connections between racial and economic justice.
Too often folks on our side talk about racial and economic justice as separate things -- or in far too many cases, refuse to name or address racial injustice directly.
But our opponents promote racial fears to turn out white voters, pitting working people against each other and against good government. Meanwhile, economic pain fuels racial resentment and facilitates scapegoating, including attacks on African-Americans, immigrants and Muslims.
The Race-Class Narrative uses a values-first, people-centric storytelling approach to directly address (and name) these dynamics. And it does so in a way that both excites our base AND brings along persuadable folks who aren't already on our side.

Here's a summary of the roles. Please reach out if you're interested or have any questions:
#1: Faith in Minnesota, Digital Strategist (Remote) -- $60-70k
What you'd do: Run digital campaigns and produce digital content for both Faith in Minnesota and the Greater Than Fear campaign (which is a coalition effort that brings together faith, labor and community-organizing groups in the state to fight for racial and economic justice).
This would be a good fit for: A great writer with an eye for design who can quickly and creatively translate communications strategies and objectives into digital assets, tools and resources.

What you'd do: Run strategic digital campaigns, take FaithIN's digital capacity to the next level, and work to increase the digital capacity of allied organizations in the state.
This role would be a great fit for: A fast, persuasive writer with an organizer's mindset, great people skills, and a demonstrated commitment to racial justice who has solid experience leveraging digital tools to shape narratives and amplify the impact of on-the-ground organizing.
Extra bonus points for: Experience as a trainer or coach, or experience working in Spanish-speaking immigrant communities or interfaith contexts (especially in or with the Black Church).
