Position: Deputy Finance Director
The Schupp for Congress Campaign (Mo-02) is looking to hire a Deputy Finance Director who can integrate as part of the team and gradually assume the duties of the Finance Director before the current FD's departure for maternity leave.
Jill Schupp is a State Senator running for Congress in the St. Louis suburbs.
Start Date: TBD
Hours: 6 days per week (campaign hours)
Salary: Negotiable/Commensurable with Experience.
Qualifications:
· 4-year degree preferred but not required;
· Background in political fundraising.
· Interested parties must have reliable transportation and laptop;
· Willingness to relocate prior to start date to St. Louis area.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
· Keen attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks;
· Skilled in Word, Excel, NGP, spreadsheets.
Responsibilities will include the following:
· Assist Call Time Manager and Finance Assistant with call time needs, including supervision of program;
· Assist with execution of finance plan developed by Finance Director to fund the campaign's budget; including PAC fundraising, scheduled events, digital tools, and direct mail solicitation;
· Adjust projections and monitor cash flow to assist Campaign Manager with planned spending;
· Provide organizational and administrative support to help develop/improve the department's internal structure and administrative/planning functions;
· Provide staff/volunteer training and staff support;
· Maintain consistent communications with DCCC, Emily's List and other supporting organizations;
· Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis of all services provided;
· Assist with fundraising in to Victory Fund and House Majority PAC.
