GPS Impact is hiring a Digital Production Intern to assist our growing Direct Response Team. This position can be remote or based in one of our offices located in Washington, DC., Kansas City, MO, or Des Moines, IA.
We are a full-service public affairs and multimedia advertising agency with broad experience helping progressive candidates, advocacy groups, and organizations use integrated, strategic communications and advertising to achieve their goals. GPS Impact is uniquely set up with digital expertise as well as television media production, general campaign consulting, communications experts, ad-buying, targeting, and creative all in-house.
Job Responsibilities
- Help elect Democrats and support progressive causes nationwide
- Loading content into mass mailers, CMS platforms, and social media tools
- Running through checklists to ensure there are no errors
- Tracking the results of deployments and tests
- Creating reports both for internal use and for our clients
- Build landing pages and donation forms
Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail (and proud of it)
- Strong HTML skills
- Experience with one of the following (or similar toolset): BSD, NGPVAN email/form tools, or Action Network
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities
- Commitment to progressive causes and issues
- Willingness to learn on the job
- Enthusiasm for progressive politics and working to elect more Democrats across the country
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, often unpredictable, and sometimes stressful environment
Great, but not required
- Experience working with a political campaign or progressive organization
- Familiarity with political and fundraising best practices
- Excellent proofreader
