RFP - Wisconsin Democrats - Part Time Digital and Creative Capacity
WisDems Digital produces highly-visual content for social media -- video and graphics is very much our preferred way to convey our message. Moreover, our team supports all WisDems departments with creative needs in our mission to defeat Donald Trump.
As we shift into full-on campaign mode, we're finding that meeting all of our video and design needs is increasingly difficult. Thus we are seeking consultant and agency proposals to add part-time capacity to our existing Digital team.
Proposal: Consulting digital and design support for WisDems
Hours: average 20 hours per week, less or more as needed.
Salary budget: $10,000 per month
Skills: Experienced creative designer and video editor well-versed in multiple aspects of Adobe CC -- emphasizing Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator. Strong understanding of social media norms, methodology and content strategy. Strong political and messaging instincts. Digital advertising experience is a major plus.
Potential areas of support:
- Communications:
- Rapid response video clips
- Social media graphics / infographics / written content as needed
- Design / brand perspective on WisDems Store
- Fundraising
- Design on email fundraising
- Layout of direct mail pieces
- Social media fundraising campaigns
- Political
- Yard sign design
- Invites, logos, etc. for constituent groups
- Candidate Services
- Candidate logo design / needs
- Event Invites
- Organizing
- Contribute to event invites
- Add to existing engagement toolkits
To apply: Send Resume, Cover Letter, work examples and salary/budget requirements to chucke@wisdems.org.
Equity and Inclusion: The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has a vision for a deeply inclusive and diverse party organization, membership, and electorate. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must have the cultural competence to successfully work with a diverse group of constituency groups. We especially strongly encourage applicants with close ties to Black, Latinx, Muslim, non-English-speaking, disability, and LGBTQ communities. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
