John Kane, Democrat for State Senate, seeks Field Organizers for Pennsylvania's 9th Senate District in suburban Philadelphia. John is fighting for a better Pennsylvania and will focus on protecting Pennsylvania's environment, making healthcare affordable, investing in education, and protecting women's right to choose in the state legislature. John is the leader of Plumbers Local 690, and is committed to strong unions and progressive change.
Field Organizers will be responsible for:
· Implementing the field program in their assigned turf
· Recruiting, training, managing and retaining volunteers
· Identifying and empowering volunteer leaders
· Building and managing a team of interns
· Meeting daily, weekly and monthly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals
· Building, maintaining and supporting relationships with local leaders and community organizations, as well as county and municipal party officials
· Maintaining and ensuring data integrity
· Representing and reflecting the John Kane campaign in a positive light
Candidates need not have prior experience, but competitive candidates will be expected to have high levels of energy, creativity, and commitment to electing Democratic candidates and progressive principles. Access to a vehicle, laptop, and cell phone are required.
