Wildfire Contact, a progressive direct voter contact firm based in Washington DC, Des Moines and Chicago is seeking an experienced writer to join our growing team of political professionals who provide direct mail, analytics, design, paid phone and targeting services to a broad range of clients nationwide.
Position Details/Responsibilities:
As a remote Writer, you will be responsible for working with our client services and art teams to ensure strategic and creative direct mail plans written and designed on deadline. You will write direct mail pieces using provided message content and polling data and take part in client briefings and creative meetings.
Candidates for this position will have excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. We have team members located all over the country so strong interpersonal and excellent communication are required for success in this position. Excellent time management, the ability to meet tight deadlines while working in a fast-paced work environment is a must. We pride ourselves on outstanding creative, strategy and customer service. We expect our staff to constantly strive to meet or exceed these expectations, and have fun doing it.
This is a position for the 2020 election cycle. Similar to our campaign clients, our staff are expected to put in long and irregular hours as needed. With that in mind, Wildfire actively strives to create an environment that empowers our staff to lead a balanced and healthy work life balance through flex hours, remote work opportunities, and programs for mental and physical wellness.
Salary range for this position is $3,250-$4,250 per month, based off experience and location.
