Field First, LLC is a progressive consulting firm committed to providing community organizations, issue-based coalitions, labor unions, electoral campaigns and companies with the strategic advising and tools needed to achieve grassroots victories. Field First services include campaign and coalition management, data and analytics, training and leadership coaching, and digital communications.
In the Fall of 2020, Field First will be on the front lines of the progressive political movement working to elect up and down the ballot candidates, flip the US Senate, and remove Donald Trump from office.
Field First is hiring a Campaign Organizer to join our team of campaign experts and focus on the execution of our electoral clients through Election Day in November. The position is best suited for a self-starting individual eager to advance their career, learn new skills in a collaborative environment, and work on exciting, grassroots-driven projects that emphasize a Democratic victory in November of 2020.

Depending on the applicant's background and skills, the responsibilities could include:
- Managing multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure that Field First clients have the resources they need
- Experience with outreach, training volunteers, and building coalitions
- Executing digital communications programs
- Working with databases such as VAN, Thru-Talk, HubDialer, Mobilize, NationBuilder, Salesforce, Action Network and other platforms to manage data integration and maintenance
- Providing technical and operational support for multiple projects at a time
- Using data, analytics, and reporting to help move clients' campaigns forward
The position requires:
- Familiarity with VoteBuilder and data management
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong relational building and outreach skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail
- Commitment to progressive issues and ideals
The ideal candidate will have:
- Campaign, government and/or nonprofit experience
- Strong familiarity with VAN/ Votebuilder, Google Docs, and Excel
- Project coordination experience
The position receives the following compensation:
- This is a temporary position that ends on November 30th, 2020
- $4,000 to $5,000 per month for the duration of the contract depending on experience
- 100% employer contributions for Paid Family and Medical Leave
- Employer 401K plan
