Job Description for Senior Fundraising Consultant

We are looking for an experienced campaign finance staffer to join the Left Rising team to coordinate fundraising activities for our client campaigns and organizations.


The work is remotely based. This work may include any of the duties and responsibilities below, or otherwise reasonably expected in the course of finance consulting.


Duties and Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Onboard clients and set up databases, tracking, and reporting

  • Write and execute finance plans and write weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for each client

  • Participate in recruitment and hiring of client's finance staff and manage when hired

  • Train and manage finance staff on client campaigns


Call time staffing, data management, research, and prospecting

  • Staff call time for the candidate or organization OR manage a call time manager

  • Ensure databases and call sheets are organized and up to date

  • Identify prospective donors and manage interns and volunteers to conduct research

  • Track and ensure all required follow up from calls is completed


Events

  • Coordinate with hosts to schedule and run fundraisers

  • Staff fundraisers and prepare necessary briefing materials


Other Finance Staff responsibilities

  • Finance Intern/Volunteer Program management (recruitment, training, management)

  • Creating agendas and running meetings with campaign and organization staff

  • Drafting fundraising emails, event invites, donation pages, and other collateral as needed


Qualifications

  • 1+ cycle of experience working directly on a campaign in fundraising preferred

  • Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work long hours if needed, including occasional nights and weekends

  • A detail-oriented team player

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Experience with Microsoft, Google Drive, and fundraising tools like NGP, ActBlue, EveryAction etc



Compensation based on experience, but will range from $4000-$6500. Benefits include 15 days PTO, paid holidays, IRA matching plan, and reasonable work-life balance..
